David took a long and winding route to find his yoga practice. The journey has brought him a breadth of knowledge gained over several decades that he infuses into his teaching style.

He began his study of mindful movement at a very young age with martial arts training. Today he holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With decades of intense combat training come injuries and pain, so David searched for a practice that would rejuvenate his body, mind, and spirit, and he found that yoga was the perfect solution that he had been looking for.

He received his RYT-200 through CorePower Yoga and has a deep passion for teaching fun and physically challenging Power and Vinyasa Flow classes. Additionally, he is a Certified Meditation Instructor through the University of Holistic Theology and loves to share the benefits of stress relief and mental acuity with newcomers and experienced meditators alike. He regularly conducts yoga, meditation, and martial arts workshops throughout the Atlanta area.
