After years of being an avid runner, Freya looked to yoga in 2007 to keep her body healthy and her mind calm. What she found was so much more than she had imagined. Yoga opened up a whole new world of movement and Self exploration. She became deeply dedicated to her practice and immersed herself in learning.
Freya earned her 200 RYT from YogaWorks and dove right into teaching, grateful to be able to share this ancient and beautiful practice that had given her so much.
Freya empowers her students to build confidence and strength from within through movement and breathwork. She creates an energizing, uplifting flow and an inclusive environment for all students. Freya also teaches strength training and indoor cycling, and brings high energy and enthusiasm to all of her teaching. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys the continuous process of learning and being a student, soaking up time outside, any form of movement, spending time with her partner and her dogs, and seeing live music (mostly dancing to live music)!
