Jenni began practicing yoga in 2007 after a car accident led her on a healing journey. After discovering yoga’s therapeutic powers in the body, she started noticing a shift in her mind as well. Over the years, the gifts of yoga continued to grow ten-fold, leading to a deep exploration within. The positive change that her yoga journey created inspired her in 2017 to share this transformational practice with others. Wanting to learn from the roots of yoga’s origin, she packed bags and traveled to India to study Yoga and Ayurveda, India’s holistic medical system, and how these practices connect the mind, body and spirit. Enthusiastic to learn more deeply how yoga can be utilized by anyone, she has now traveled to India three times, Mexico and Thailand, studying various styles of yoga including Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyassa, Restorative Alignment and Therapeutic.
She has a passion for guiding others on their own unique journey, encouraging students to listen within to restore balance and ease. She believes yoga is freedom that comes from within. Yoga is creating space within the body and mind, so that we thrive in life and feel the deep connection we have with everything in the universe. Every time we get on the mat, it is an opportunity to cultivate peace, acceptance, understanding and love.
One of her passions is working one-on-one, and she teaches private lessons for beginner’s, people recovering from illness or injury, or people who want to fine-tune their practice and work on alignment or advanced postures. Her private and group classes focus on the breath, cultivating authenticity, calming the mind and creating space, strength, stability and lightness.
