Joey was first introduced to the practice of yoga as a means of warming up his body for high school theatre performances. Throughout college, he focused on a steady home practice that grew into a strong practice at local gyms and studios.
In 2018, the loss of his grandmother and best friend led him to complete his 200-hour YTT at breatheYOGA Atlanta, with a focus on teaching yoga for athletes.
While he thrives in a heated power class and loves to get upside-down, Joey also loves to slow down as much as possible. From power flows to restorative practices, his mindset remains the same: it’s just yoga, so let’s take it easy and enjoy the ride!
