Kristyn came to yoga at the end of her dance and choreography career. She had been teaching movement to children and adults since her teenage years and yoga seemed a natural next stage. She pursued her 200hr training in 2014 with Empower Yoga and quickly realized that yoga truly did fill the place in her heart that dance had. From that point, she went all in. She has attended Baptiste’s Level One training and the Art of Assisting trainings. She spent a month in Costa Rica at the Blue Osa Yoga Retreat to pursue her 500-hour training in 2018. She has assisted and led numerous teacher trainings both in Georgia and in Costa Rica, the home of her heart. Kristyn brings her background as a choreographer and her expertise as a neuromuscular therapist into her classes – creating an accessible, playful, and empowering environment for her students. Because she can’t seem to stop learning, she obtained her Certified Personal Training certification in 2020 and has added personal training into her repertoire. On a personal front, she has been happily married to her best friend since 2000 and has amazing twin sons whom she has homeschooled for many years.
