My background is in nursing. I have been a RN BSN CDCES since 1992. (Endocrinology and injection training are my specialties) I discovered Trigger Point therapy in 2015 while complaining about feeling stiff and tired in my mid-forties. I hit upon profound changes, in my own body, with doing this type of recovery. My experience compelled me to share this field of study with others. Deciding to dive deeper into the human anatomy and physiology of this practice, I took my certification in Trigger Point therapy, 2016 and started teaching classes by that summer. I was determined to add to my training and become adept in many recovery tools/methods by adding RAD certification in 2021. In 2023, I became a Role Model Practitioner, through Tune Up Fitness, after several years of studying and using the tune up fitness philosophy and tools. In my free time, I love spending time at our weekend home on Lake Lanier, love college football season (Hook’ Em Horns, Gig’ Em Aggies, Go Rebs and Roll Tide), swimming/movement, reading and being with friends and family. I have two adorable Scottish Terriers, Daisy Mae and Murphy and 3 adult children (Cole, Luke and Ava). I share my wonderful life with my loving husband (David) whom I have been married for 27yrs.
