Kacy began her yoga journey as a way to help with her depression, anxiety and panic disorder. As she began to deepen her practice and realize all of the benefits that yoga provided, she knew that she wanted to help others feel the way yoga makes her feel. In 2016, she travelled to Costa Rica for her 200-hour certification through Marianne Wells Yoga School. With a foundation based on the teachings of Iyengar, she teaches with a focus on proper alignment; providing the building blocks needed to take your physical practice safely to the next level. She teaches how she wants to be taught, providing a fun, light hearted environment hoping that her students learn that they can have a deeper connection to their practice without taking themselves too seriously. She enjoys bringing her students beyond the asana and introducing deeper concepts of yoga in a way that students can relate to, hoping that they can apply the learnings even once they leave their mat.
She is currently working towards obtaining her 300-hour certification and will be finished in 2022.
When she’s off the mat, you can find her camping, painting, attending soccer games, canoeing & kayaking and hanging with her son, husband and friends. Always looking and listening for signs that the Universe is giving her to help her become the best version of herself that she can be.
