Paige D
Lift Yoga Studio Instructor
E-RYT 500, Lift Yoga 200-Hour YTT Co-Lead Instructor, B.S. Exercise Physiology

Paige first began sharing movement classes while earning her degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Utah. She quickly fell in love with the community of seniors who joined her classes at the senior center, and wanted to learn more from them and how to support their needs. After moving to the Atlanta area, she was able to continue teaching movement to people with Parkinson’s Disease and aging adults at the Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Crabapple Senior Center. Her formal 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training was completed at Asheville Yoga Center. From there she was able to begin sharing yoga classes full time at community centers, fitness centers, and yoga studios while managing a yoga studio and wellness coaching. After a couple years of teaching, she went back to AYC to complete her 300 Hour program. Diving deeper into mindfulness, meditation, restorative, yin, and subtle body awareness gave Paige the tools she needed to feel well rounded and supported in sharing yoga.

Paige found that she truly needed accessible movement, with all hierarchy and agenda removed. She needed visualization practices that support coming home to her body, and connecting with the natural world. She needed breath practices that would empower the energy she found herself in that day. She needed stillness and rest, so much more than what mainstream culture has space for. With the permission to give these gifts to herself, she was able to pour the offerings into the spaces she held in community with others.

Those who join will receive a dose of mindfulness, accessible movement, breath awareness, and visualization playtime in each of Paige’s classes.
